Stolenlives.com

Sadly, this list is growing.

Eric Cantor

We continue to tie Eric Cantor's loss of his Congressional House of Representatives seat to immigration.
Truthfully, Cantor was on thin ice even in the 2012 campaigns.
A man called Mudcat Saunders was instrumental during that campaign in labelling Cantor of man of large mouth but no substantive speech. He couldn't quite make the charges swell enough to get to enough of Cantor's constituents in time for the vote. But he did his job instilling the doubt he could
so that Cantor tipped the scales himself with the very next characteristic back-stabbing move he made
to disenfranchise his public the way he often glibly did John Boehner- Cantor backed the government shut-down.
Why didn't he know there was no way Virginians wouldn't question him on a shut-down?
Virginia is very invested in government projects.
He wasn't good for Virginia.
His constituents don't miss him.

American Media Are A Foreign Policy Strategy!

Some in the American media make up such a goop soup of pseudo-intellectual glop, that POTUS
easily allows them to BE an intricate juxtaposition of fact-like foreign policy stratagem and solidification.
As far as the American media is concerned, if they have something they can use to criticize the
President, they have the news of the day both here and abroad.
They are so craven they are inventing their own sound-bites!
"No strategy...no strategy...deliberative...deliberative...his own red line...not good at....blah, blah, and
more blah.
So what has POTUS done?
He has challenged them to continually invent the news themselves; and they are biting.
They believe their interminable analysis of what's wrong with American foreign policy serves as
stimulative substitution for the possibilities of what American treatment of world problems actually
does.
They are so wrong about believing all the nonsense which comes out of their own mouths.
Reporters and journalists will never, ever make foreign policy. The ability to do that has long since
become too involved to do effectively unless you are engaging directly with policy makers while
agreements and suggestions are being discussed and implemented.
How in the world would any meeting ever be secure if that could happen- even in America?
I have become almost unsolvably bored by everything I hear these days.
Why do we keep talking about bombing Syria? Why didn't we do it sooner?
Do the media think if they keep all that up they convince us they were the ones with the correct
policy solutions all along?
That is nonsense.
We know from them that nearly every group fighting Assad in Syria has a jihadist bent.  The problem even now, is that those groups are using right now, and trading with each other, and stealing from each other, all the ammunition, missiles, tanks, and arms made in America.
Why would the President send more arms, missiles, men, intelligence to Syria?
What the President would do, is say there is no policy, certainly not one invented in the media, so
he can confound all at home and abroad who think he waits to hear from them before he does have a
strategy he is going to make public.
That, as a matter of fact, is what he has done.
And it boggles me he has actually got the media chasing its own tail on this ad nauseum for days!
Why can't we discuss more fully the Russia-Syria connection, and how it could be impacted by
further sanctions arising out of the Ukraine conflict?
Why can't we hear the possibilities of a sinking ISIL if their funds begin to dry up soon?
Could we speak a bit more about how the Pesh Merga are doing with U.S. help? They are a group
who don't have a tendency to let their resources get into the wrong hands.
Has Arogan begun to do more to seal the Turkey/Syria border?
Are Syrian refugees straining the Egyptian economy the way Iraqi refugees did when we attacked
the nonexistent weapons of mass destruction?
What is Jordan prepared to do to keep out of the fray?
Does ISIL think the President is dumb enough to give them money and more American bodies to
capture?
Is money we send overseas inadvertently getting to ISIL through some in the Iraqi government?
American media operate on equal value of all questions premises.
Our media reports an O'Rourke fantasy: Give War A Chance.
If not war, give a chance to whatever principles we surmise are a wonderful get.
They believe abroad there is such thing as right and wrong, as barbaric or human; but in America
there are two sides to every story no matter how awful or how banal one side might be.
At times, the senseless and cold blooded is senseless and cold blooded- here or abroad.
At times, the need to keep security and a master plan close has to be the imperative to keep
security and a master plan close.
Reporting our realities in thoughtful discussion is actually entirely possible.
What is up with the newsrooms today?!

No Way Could POTUS Go To Ferguson

What is wrong with some commenters?
Do they see POTUS is a politician?
Our President is a duly elected official as the leader of his party.
He was not elected as an Independent.
Even if he were, he couldn't exactly go to Ferguson as a President because all the weight of his
travel and his eventual presence would have been interpreted as that of a somewhat unofficial
black man.
Despite the grandiose claims of so many waves of post civil war immigrants, African and
African-American forefathers are the people who built America, and who made a democracy possible.
That 'shot heard 'round the world' was ammunition and weapon paid for by Virginia tobacco crops
brought forth by my ancestors, by degradation and sale of black bodies on the wharfs in the New York harbor which built Wall Street, by the made rich insurers of our ancestors, of their passage, and later of the crops they caused to thrive, by the Massachusetts' ship-building empires used in these violent  endeavors against our people, by the labor and delivery of moms in great sorrow who suffered breeding farms in Rhode Island, for instance.
We did build this.
And all these other races and nationalities who came here after we did- well, they came here to be white, even many Africans came hoping to be white, to reap the reward earned by people they
often considered "other".
How else could a man inherit someone elses' birthright, other than by coming to America?
As it is hard enough to live in this place, even after all these centuries, we don't need to wreck the gains we've made as long as we are still living here, even though we built this so other people's
children could be the ones to thrive.
Western Civilization is advanced, but not as old as many others which still manage to thrive and endure today.
American Society, if it remains so protective of the violent pockets of cretins it has created,  may not thrive as much as its unearned income has caused it to in the past.
In the meantime, however, we have to stick with those who have done all they could do for us and who continue to care for us in these difficult times. 'Those" meaning POTUS and co.
Burkina Faso hasn't opened her arms to us yet, and may not even want us as full citizens.
Let's not give POTUS a hard time as he tries his best to represent us well in this place.
We have to remember we live in America, where every Tom, Dick and Harry whose forefathers got
here after ours actually believes himself, herself to be related to George Washington, and
Thomas Jefferson, and all the other slave traders who caused us to make this country richer than Crocus.
Those related to men and women who came here anytime even before the Civil War don't stop to care
that before 1620, no settlements in America had declared a profit. The Africans first arrived in Virginia in 1619.
Though I have been known to confuse my British Kings, I know they did want slavery in these American colonies, much to the dismay of many colonists here.
Britain felt she needed to be paid back for the Indian Wars, the French And Indian War, etc. or She
might be unable to afford to defend herself in another armed conflict with European countries who
were already growing rich from the African slave trade.
Besides, British citizens were growing restless from poverty, hunger, and overwork.
My ancestors never knew what hit them.
And even today, those of us who do still love each other, well- we get dogs and tanks and gas attacks.
Give somebody else a hard time; not POTUS.
We have elections coming up in November.
President Obama is the leader of all the people, and the leader of the Democratic Party. Real Talk.

Are There Palestinians?

If Palestinians are not under strict terms of blockade, but have lost a lot more land, are they still
Palestinians?
They seem to feel they are.
They seem to feel it's of paramount importance to be Palestinian.
I believe them that it is.
I wish them God speed in being spared more war.
I thank them so fervently for their good wishes during the occupation of our brethren in Ferguson, MO.
I hear it's nice in Burkina Faso this time of year.
I sure wonder if African-American youth would be welcome there.

How Could Darren Wilson Have Written A Police Report?

I haven't seen anyone who looks more inbred.
How in the world could that creature ever have learned to read, or to write?
I'm unable to picture it.
No one is criminal because he can't learn.
Often though, anyone who pretends he or she can, when in positions of authority, can easily get
nudged to great violence in their behaviors.

Killers On Trial

John Wayne Gacey went to trial.
Gary Ridgeway had a trial.
Ted Bundy got a trial.
The mass murderer at the Colorado movie theater went on trial.
Dzokhar Tsarnaev has a trial.
Oh...they were white.
Mike Brown Jr. couldn't live to get to trial in this country.
He was a kid.
And he was unarmed.
He was African-American.
Of course he had to be gunned down in the streets by some cowardly badge.
That's the way we do it in America these days.
Mike Brown Jr. didn't do enough to go to trial.
Badges are the ones who do that these days.
As black people, we had better think of a way to begin to protect our younger generations.
We cannot be quiet and polite all the time while demanding our children stop getting
murdered in cold blood.
The police forces these days do the work of the KKK.
Why in the world did Mr. Ford get gunned down in St. Louis several days ago?
Is it a crime to be mentally compromised?
I thought even Sarah Palin felt it was a joke to bring a knife to a gun fight.
We are losing the fight for our future generations.
These policemen are no better than brown shirts. So far, they are worse because there
isn't even the pretense of a complaint or grudge.
Their responses are nonsensical for a loss of life struggle.
In Oscar Grant's death: "Oops."
In Sean Bell's death: "I thought I saw a gun."
In Amadou Diallo's death: "He was reaching for a lethal I.D."
In Trayvon's death: "I thought I was a policeman and 'they always get away' ".
In Mike Brown's case- well, he recognized a freak stopped him- and he made the mistake of
letting the guy know he knew a freak when he saw one.
But don't worry, Mike, some of us will always love you, and know you may save the lives of many
young men to come.
You were right that the whole world knows your name, though I know you wouldn't have wanted it
to be for the life you did not live.
