Mike Jordan And Basketball

When I was kid shouting for the Pistons to win, the NBA was a bit small.
When my kids were growing up shouting for the Lakers to win, there were more teams.
But until Mike Jordan cut loose, the NBA did not grow by leaps and bounds.
Billionaires couldn't afford a lot of LeBron Jameses, because fans were not paying to see
the possibilities of what exciting could be.
Without Mr. Jordan, we would not have thirty NBA teams.
We'd still likely have a handful, although some real fever began as early as 1961 when doctors
asserted a young guy named Lew Alcindor was still growing, and would be for some years!
