We Cannot Get Justice/ Only Accountability

The boys killed by freaks drawing paychecks from the cash flow of the citizens whose children they are gunning down have the power to take life- not to give it back.
If the lily-livered could give it back, we would have a chance for real justice.
As it is, all we can do is to make sure the grand jury arm of the government which sanctions these vile behaviors as legal continues to get enough black eyes that they really cannot see; thereby making themselves as obsolete as town blacksmiths.

Losing A Young, Unarmed Son Or Daughter To Needless Paid-For Violence: Unimaginable

We don't in any way need government-sanctioned slaughter of our children in the streets.
Police have no right to absolute power over any citizen in a free country.
My daughter was gotten off the sidewalk when she was a senior in high school. She was chalking
up her elevated view of her class at the city curb. The officer realized after a day or two she went right back out there when he wasn't looking. Did he shoot and kill her, no he didn't. His mom was
probably not a crack-head.
I still have my child. She is a grown woman with two kids of her own, but I have as one of my dearest memories the day I dressed her to get her home from the maternity ward when she was three
days old. Mike Brown Jr.'s mom deserved her grandchildren too. She remembers bringing her baby
home to introduce him to living in the world.
She never once imagined teen-aged high spirit in her boy would attract a freak in her neighborhood to
shoot the whole place up, and leave her child to lie in the streets full of "police" lead.
We no longer have a right to criticize Tiannamen Square. America is losing credibility quickly.
Heavily armed, full grown, professionally trained men happily profess to be terrified of unarmed,
individual youths.
How is anyone supposed to take people like that seriously?
Aren't the killers the ones who are murderous thugs when they have attack an unarmed person over cigarettes- six or seven to one?!
One of the policemen who was on duty at a popular island on the Detroit River saw my girl playing
there with her water-gun rifle. The officer stopped her and told her the play was unsafe because the gun looked too real.
Did he draw down on her when he told her to stop playing with that rifle toy?
No he didn't.
She was a bit of a fireball in those days, but she would never have killed anyone.
Thank heavens the parents of the officers my child encountered can probably say the same thing of their sons when those sons were able to realistically assess when no danger was threatening in their immediate environments.
The most decent parents of policemen are like the parents of other people; they know their children
are not very likely to be killed by unarmed citizens.
A lot of people in this world would have no life or very diminished lives if that policeman had killed
that particular seventeen-year-old child all those years ago.
She earned a degree in Honors Psychology from the Honors College at the University of Michigan,
and she did a lot of real world research on her professors projects with troubled portions of several
communities as she worked toward that degree. She even did some work in South Africa.
She actually used her calculus and statistics academics to translate problems of people who were part of the pools in her testing samples into problems with hopes of some realistic insight, if not change, for those most intimately affected by the troubled lifestyles she was studying.
Eric Garner's mom has been looking forward to her son being with her as she grew older.
Tamir Rice's mom deserved to see her grandchildren.
These people were killed because they had no sense of needing to show blind, unthinking obedience
to unreasonable, nutty, policemen?
Well- people still won't do that.
But we do have to find a way to protect our children from rabid dogs- even those on two legs.
The Klan has ripped off the white robes and replaced them with blue pants.
But garbage by any other name...you know.

Murder, Government-Sanctioned Murder

Doesn't the murder of unarmed persons, even children,  just make you feel so peaceful, all over?
The government keeps asking for "peace" as a response to murders...unanswered culpability in murders.
That is what it is supposed to do.
Is it supposed to do anything else?

Black On Black Is Way More Than Crime

While these murdering slack-jawed and their similar leaders( like Rudy Giuliani) are saving us from ourselves, they might think a bit more about increased efforts to curb serial killing, and even more- serial rape.
Oh, but a preponderance of those people aren't normally black.
I see now.

So How DO Americans Continue To Exploit Resources In The Black Community?

Banks do it with needlessly high interest rates for so many minority citizens.
Oh I know...credit reports, right? Those things at so many levels in our society are mainly gimmicks.
Mayor Bloomberg was masterful at it.Stop dark people. Cheat dark people. Collect from dark people.
Real estate does it, again, with unsightly interest rates.
Insurance does it. Dark people pay high rates because they live near other dark people. Why would
they do such living?!
Retail does it often by accusing every tenth minority customer and/or minority salesperson of theft.
Ferguson did it with globs of phony enforcement of phony laws. Disobey, and get lit up by the very violent, very dim son of a crack-head. Sounds OK?
So how will America continue to do exploit the black community if they don't have a plethora of goon enforcers and slightly more capable legal scorers?
Oh, are they called prosecutors?
No. That is silly. All they do is keep score.
1. We scammed this many dollars from the black/brown community today.
2. We deprived this many persons from the black/brown community for our bogus jails today.
3. We can count about how many times we can do all this again tomorrow!
So if Americans do find slicker ways to press their tricks, when will they ever outgrow murder,
and murderous enforcement?

Let's Know The Average IQ Of An American White Police Person

We are afraid to know, but we most likely should know.
What many of us have known for years, is that it isn't affirmative action which deposits dummies in positions of responsibility in this country, rather it is the indiscriminate scooping up of enough
Caucasians to keep an entity majority white...any Caucasians.

Let's Breathe Enough To PREVENT ORGAN FAILURE!

"I can't breathe."
Eric Garner wanted to get enough breath to live, not just enough to beg for his life.
Who has to be a doctor to understand that?
These po pos must have been some truly goofy beasts.
They were choking, pressing the man's head, his upper body: five or more against one.
These goons had guns, sticks, tazers, and numbers when nothing whatever was at stake.
They claimed they were guarding against biting and spitting.
Did they also sit on the man's legs, and tie his feet?
Did they plan to pull out his fingernails to keep him from scratching?
People do struggle against unjust brute force.
Are police people not prepared for that without employing unnecessarily torturous tactics
to curb a man's natural instinct? Isn't the preparation for struggle, when no imminent danger
is presenting, the reason they want to be called "professional"?
Lot's of luck- because public perception of you and your methods as worse than those at Abu Ghraib will live in perpetuity.

Selling Loosies, The New Reason For 'Stop And Frisk'

You won't get killed for open carry in Ohio unless you are a black.
You won't get killed for flagging down a police car when yours stops in the boonies- unless you're
black.
You won't get tasered to death on the subway unless you're black.
You won't get shot in the head for not being pulled into a police car, unless you're black. Etc. etc. etc.
But the BTK killer got to go to trial.
Ted Bundy got to go to trial.
The Green River Killer got to go to trial.
Police tried to get the Craig's List killer to trial.
Jeffery Dahmer got to trial.
John Wayne Gacy got to go  to trial.Etc. etc.
Oh! Well, those were white guys. So different, right?

We Better Get T' Steppin'

I was alive and well during all of the sixties.
I love Dr. King immensely because his heart was in the right place, and he did his level best to
elevate all black lives to standards of equal justice and opportunity.
However, he was met with nothing at all by way of cooperation from state or local authority.
Federal authorities tried as best they could to offer their cooperation to Dr. King.
But America was, and in many ways still is, a bunch of stupid little city-states.
I know when POTUS was a senator he offered us a picture of a unified country.
I think he had a country like that in his dreams. I don't know how real it was.
Americans reserve the right to be OK and entitled while backward, if they are white.
Americans reserve the right to keep to being dirt poor and still entitled, if they are white.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was vilified in the northern press for organizing and marching 'without
permission' because many times when he applied for local permits, they were denied.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was attacked by dogs.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was attacked by water hoses.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was jailed.
Dr. King's peaceful protests got us very very little. They got him respect chiefly at federal levels.
Medgar Evers was gunned down in his own driveway.
James Meredith was shot.
Ferderal troops had to protect kids going to school from mobs.
The authorities did none of that to Malcolm X.
They jailed Huey Newton as many times as they could, but he kept to his beliefs.
But we as black citizens got nothing of substance from this country from peaceful protests alone.
After the '67 and '68 riots, I finally got a job at the bank in my neighborhood.
White people didn't live in my neighborhood, but all the staff in that bank were white except one teller, until circa 1969.
Even in 1969,when Detroit was a very black city, not one black person worked in its mail room
at main office in downtown Detroit.
When we finally elected Coleman A. Young as mayor, in early the early 1970s, police stopped putting their guns to the temples of black men shouting "up against the wall m.....f.....!' and/or
other expletives to that effect.
We obviously paid a price to be free of that horror, but it took the death of our beloved Mayor, and
thirty years.
We have lost two other good mayors to insanely hostile out-city forces since Mayor Young died.
Still, we have the basic respect of the police forces here so far, and we realized we have paid a heavy
price for it.
It doesn't seem fair that 'live and let live' should be so hard to come by in an American city when we are discussing police departments. But we are not one bit surprised.
Several black millionaires still live in Detroit. And they know there is nowhere less hostile they can live around here.
We can be peaceful. We can march without violence; but it had better start working.
Dr. King gained power when Malcolm and The Panthers offered us alternatives.
Nelson Mandela gave up nonviolence; but he gained most power when first Buthelesi, and then Winnie's Boys offered black South Africans alternatives.

Are You Safe?

No matter what your race, creed, color, or ethnicity, in America you are safe from black people, safe from black lives, if you are in close proximity to a police station or police person.

Another U.S. Policing Trophy...Dripping In Blood

I cannot measure what po pos are doing for the black community; however, Mr. Eric Garner helps me
see even more clearly today what they are doing to the black community.
I do not acknowledge the Staten Island Grand Jury's decision.
I do not accept it. It enlarges the lie nothing has happened which needs prosecuting. The killing lie.
Eric Garner did spend the last seconds of his life trying to save his life. I do acknowledge that.
I commend him for that. He repeated as often as he could, "I can't breathe."
I am not surprised no one was listening. And neither was the Staten Island grand jury. Why?
Hey- it was Staten Island.
When someone loses his life because you and your buddies are committing an illegal act, why would
it matter to his community that you are wearing a badge? It would not. It does not. You are a killer,
You deserve to go on trial. You deserve to go to prison. Read Freud. There are no accidents.
Mr. Garner is unfortunately another bloody trophy for the ISIL-type executors who hunt and kill in
the black community.
I don't understand what Peter King is thinking to believe police officers a friends to the black community.
They are not.
If black citizens are upsetting them, they may unleash any manner of fines, levies, arrests, or even
killing.
If black citizens are minding their own business, police may still unleash onto them any manner of fines, levies, arrests, or killing.
When black citizens actually call police (as we are reluctant to do, of course) if there is a black officer available, he or she may answer the call. If only a white officer is available, well, prepare to
wait until the situation has resolved itself.

Girls!

Maybe, and I mean a big, qualified maybe, if the man has made you first lady of the United States of
America, and you have a child by him, and you need to live with Secret Service, and the man is going to help you in your attempts to become a U.S. Senator, and then President of the United States yourself, then maybe if the man disgraces you, or shows any hint of being otherwise threatening toward you, you should consider the possibility of continuing to live with him if you are living with
him already.
I don't recommend it- but I don't exactly condemn it.
In any other circumstance I would say, at least plot your escape!
A guy you are committed to is not supposed to act on or admit to you his randier feelings for other women.
A guy you have agreed to spend time with is not supposed to be able to hit you, shout at you, berate you, ridicule you, lie to you, shove you, lie about you, otherwise betray you or your confidence, block your path, withhold affection, withhold liquid finances, show frequent jealousy, envy, or suspicion toward you, threaten you, ignore you, or treat your other loved ones badly.
Naturally, it works both ways. However, as nature would have it, spontaneous non-weaponized acts
against a person by a man have a great deal more potential for serious harm than do those same acts
perpetrated by a woman, in most cases.
Couples who treat each other in this way should be in therapy, separately and together.
Therapy is expensive, but people do what they can to avail themselves of help buying a car, buying
a house, getting other sorts of health care. This care is no less important.
Behaviors I mention are even more destructive when people accustomed to them don't see them as
particularly harmful.
They are particularly harmful.
And whatever you do now to shake them off, blunt their effects, you may not be able to do if you are
to become an old person.
I can't understand what makes people feel they cannot do without such treatment. I think in many cases it's true the person enduring such treatment is already broken, and so would go out and find some other abusive, or thoughtless person to 'put up with' them. So the poor treatment would not stop. It would trade administrators.
At some point though, attempting The Courage To Heal might well be worth the time, emotion, and
effort of increased happiness with self.
If necessary, being alone can be fun without submitting to loneliness.
Couples should be couples only when they consistently admire one another, and frequently offer
one another praise and appreciation.
Arguments should take apart concepts, not partners.

No Way Dude

If Ray and Janay Rice think grown-ups believe this is the first time he has gotten violent with her, they must live in la-la land.
The poor girl had barely recovered when the brute rushed her to the altar.
They didn't marry after high school.
They didn't marry when they knew Janay was pregnant.
They didn't marry when their child was newly born.
Her getting knocked unconscious, a very dangerous occurrence by the way, made them embrace
a romantic commitment. Well, well, well, actually, a great many of us have read Ntozake Shange's
'For Colored Girls...' from cover to cover. We are not confused, not one bit on this matter.

Mr. Ray Rice

He is a very public figure, dependent upon public support in order to thrive n his profession.
I have yet to see the man on camera with his wife when he allows the public to see him treating
her respectfully by saying, "I am so sorry for what I did to you that day. I will never do anything
like that again."
He cannot say it. He would choke on it.
He saddles up to it, then says something else instead, something so syrupy- it's barely palatable.
If enough people buy it, he can go back to work.
He seemed to be saying a lot of players, and even people in general, have done worse in his estimation (which may be worth dime right now) but he happened to get caught on camera.
The reason I don't think he should make that point, because a lot of men with only ordinary public
exposure have done actual time for doing a whole lot less than he did.
As a matter of fact, all professional sports players should be held to the same violence standards
boxers must adhere to in this country.
I personally think he should delve into lifelong therapy, and get into some other line of work.
At some point in his therapy he may be ready for the speakers' circuit outlining for youngsters what
possible life stressors often lead to partner attacks, both physical, and verbal.
Or maybe he could play for the Etoro tribesmen in New Guinea. They would love him.

RIP Elub

She is a young attorney, and Elub was the first pet she ever had. I understand today she lost him. I feel he'll be back. I wish him luck.

Young Unarmed Black Men Are Being Gunned Down By Policemen

So we should be calm and peaceful, then, right?
You can tell me.

Bill Cosby: Maybe Just Be Woody Allen

Possibly Allen's behavior of admitted child neglect, and possible statutory sexual misconduct and incest were judged mainly as the quirkiness of a genius.
I hate rape with a vengeance; but you haven't replied to  charges, so maybe we should think of you
as a quirky genius.

Chris Hayes Of MSNBC: Intellectualizing Murder

We can intellectualize murder, sure.
We can plumb the philosophical depths of motivations.
We can examine the psychological backgrounds of perpetrators.
We can study the sociological possibilities of opportunity.
We can scour the landscapes of means.
In some terrible, terrible cases, we can go on forever asking how much proof is enough?
We can find numerous academics to say what we want to hear. Some will even say the
actual earth we inhabit is getting colder.
So we can talk ourselves to death about murder.
But then of course we are in many cases just putting more lipstick on that proverbial pig,
Or even worse, we may be spreading more manure than is easily found on short notice.

Are Policemen Afraid Of Young Black Men?

Apparently, for the most part, they are terrified of unarmed young black men.

Janay Palmer

She's between a rock and a hard place.
She may want to be an NFL wife for many reasons.
She may want to support the wild man for many reasons.
However, the rest of us have to let her, or each other know, that the things she has been saying
about the violence she has encountered at the hands of her partner are the things most all victims
of rape and violence say: "From here on in, I want to be in control of the process- including the
decisions on what happens to the perpetrator."
That sounds wonderful, but it is not. I understand the sentiment of letting 'control' be the new healer.
However, we need more honest healing in these matters of partner violence. Control was lost to the predator, and like it or not, taking control once the barn door has been left open puts the entire remainder of the community at risk, randomly. The best thing for an individual to do in an immediacy may not be the most protective thing for that individual, or his or her community, which has also suffered the horror of violence in their midst.
We have to get to the point where as a society, we treat crimes like crimes.
We have to give up the P.J. O'Rourke title mind set. We cannot continue to 'give violent love a chance'.

Janay Palmer's Dad?

The other man in Ray Rice's interview with Matt Lauer today, seemed a man in real pain, suffering
real grief. Maybe he felt an pang of the destruction he could suffer if this Ray Rice turns out to be an
O.J. Simpson.
During Ray Rice's speeches, the man looked up in the air, rolled his eyes, maybe looked at Mtt Lauer, or fixed his gaze onto Janay's face. I didn't see him look at Mr.Rice even once. I didn't see
Janay return her dad's fixed stare, even briefly.
When Matt Lauer indicated there might not be a possibility that years from now Mr. and Mrs. Rice's
daughter would Google her dad to have his on the field stats be the first thing to po up- finally dad spoke.
He said, "Not at all!" quite audibly on camera.
To me what that father is thinking to present in that way is this: 'All the football in the world can't make you a man.'
Janay's mom: kept very still...kept her face off camera.
Janay seemed compliant, disappointedly compliant.

The Ferguson Police Dept./ Prosecutors

Goons...muerderous goons.

The St. Louis Police Dept.

Are you deaf and dumb?
The community in St. Louis hasn't reached the conclusion the Ferguson grand jury found.
You going to force them to accept it?
What you call 'law', that community calls 'lynching'. Get it?
You going to shove it down their throats that they believe what that jury believes? They don't believe
it.
Maybe you should grow up. The St. Louis Rams are largely black citizens. They have to stand with
their community if they love the community.
If every last one of you badge-loving excusers should disappear tomorrow...fine. You can be replaced.
If you'd like to leave your jobs, do that.
Those of you who are attempting to 'whitewash' what black citizens are now doing legally in this country ... drop dead.

Killers Need To Be Held Accountable

In that way, perhaps fewer young black men will be shot in cold blood, in broad daylight, the new lynchings.

Remember "George" - The Magazine of John Kennedy Jr.

George used to encourage black men to teach their boys to handle a gun properly.
He must have known a lot we only suspected.

Would You Like Your Woman To Express Unfailing Love And Admiration?

Cold-cock her.

Below: What The 'Ferguson' Prosecutor Believes Happened August Ninth, The Year Of Our Lord, Two-thousand Fourteen

Thanksgiving Friday, Etc.

We honored Mike Brown Jr.'s memory by ignoring Black Friday, small business Saturday, and cyber Monday. Maybe it should be called White Friday.
Black Friday sales were down 11%. That has to mean many white people avoided it too; either in
solidarity, or from being tired of it, because African Americans are only about 11% of the American
population, and when we consider the group John Fugelsang so hilariously calls the "self-loathing
black people" we know 11% don't support Mr. Brown or his family.
Some businesses had a great cyber Monday though, I've heard.
We had gotten a honey-baked ham on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
We are happy to have four days off; but we don't feel thankful for how Native Americans were
misled by the mentally retarded who came ashore in Massachusetts, etc. in their land, then got
surprised when they saw real British soldiers.
Most of us stayed in with the kids.
The kids were driven by computer games, dolls, TV cartoons, and new hairdos.
We were gossiping and preparing meals and treats all day.
There was a stewing hen. I have a butcher; but it's hard to convince some of my friends a stewer is
very much different than a roaster or fryer.
I covered it with Smart Water after stuffing it with two big leeks whose outer leaves were stripped and scrubbed.
We had the best broth in the world from a cooking over low flame. We didn't all need even salt.
We had a corned bread with very little corn meal.
We had coffee.
We had a pot roast.
We had fried chicken with Ton's nine herbs and spices.
Saturday was equally relaxed.
We had Toni's huge biscuits and a lot of stuffing with Bran's gravy.
Kids played. We took turns chatting and sleeping.
We truly deserved a four day break, and we loved it. The kids refused to leave the house, but on
Saturday afternoon two of them went back to Illinois.
The teenager in our house drew her fashions on Sunday.
Aaah ... Sunday for the grown-ups ... egg nog!

Thanksgiving In The Suburbs 2014

Eerily quiet...
Heard no real conversations.
What's happening?
Maybe we'll find out between now and next year.

POTUS On Ferguson

The law, sir, as expressed in Ferguson, is a mirror image of the laws which have always supported
lynchings of black American citizens.
The law in Ferguson is like the laws of old South Africa.
American 'law' enforcement reserves the right to execute killing young black men at will.
These 'officers' are killing scores of young black men now.
We cannot define peace if there is never an excuse for violence unless it is against black bodies.
Killers in the civil rights 60s ran to hide.
These freaks aren't doing that, sir.
They are killing us and taking us to task when we don't like it.
I can no longer say what defines peace.
However, maybe it can be defined by lawlessness in the police meeting citizens who will themselves
decide what to be arrested for, rather than let these badge-wearing criminals decide. Perhaps that's
the new peace. And perhaps this is one of the prices we've paid for electing the first black President
Of The United States Of America.
People in power, people who were close to Mike Brown Jr. may not see in this moment, that 1619- 2014 is enough of this disgusting acceptance so often forced on us.
There is no law in Ferguson.
Am I the only one who notices that?

McCullough The Conflating Liar: This Is What The World Sees

According to this man, when someone is dying, different witnesses see a person in different stages
of loss of ability as loss of life creeps over him are said to be makingt things up, I suppose out of malice?
This man is a clown who has himself made up a story in which a young man is killed in cold blood,
and left to die unaided in the streets for no reason in particular, yet no truth can be found to support
what happened.
Witnesses who had consistent statements apparently amounted to nothing but a shrug of the shoulders.
When this young man was killed, it was because Wilson wanted to kill him.
What is wrong within that? According to officials, nothing.
In McCollough's mind, in the minds of the grand jury... the truth here is either nonexistent, ephemeral, or completely irrelevant. The witnesses, and the evidence all amount to nothing.
Why did this man run his mouth so long? I would imagine he had to do so as a show of power,
because he hates that Mike Brown's community loved him; and this prosecutor wants to torture
Mike Brown Jr.'s parents for that reason.
We learned what we already knew- that the police community could care less about Mike Brown Jr.,
that Darren Wilson ( who wasn't actually discussed) is not important either; but that police officials will back each other up when any of them is killing a young black man, for any reason- or for no reason.
However, Burkina Faso may want to have a few million more citizens.

New York Minorities Paid The Central Park Five

New York policemen have stolenso much from minority communities, and lied so much about charges these communities have had to pay their way out of, that any of the mllions rhe Central
Park Five finally settled to receive, came in the long run from communities fraudulently accused
for years.

Protecting Protesters

Yeah, right...that's what Ferguson officials have been trying to do.
Do they think if they give us lots of jobs we won't mind them killing our kids in cold blood?
They are saying that, but they don't actually believe that, right?
A badge gives someone the right to slaughter our young people?
No. No it doesn't. Think again.

Damage People- Not Property

Let police kill and destroy people on a  whim.
But cut down anyone upsetting property!

The Independents In Our American Congress

We have only a handful of Independents in our Congress, but I would like them to drive the 2016 debating, along with Elizabeth Warren.
Republicans are hopelessly non-progressive.
And Democrats are becoming increaslingly conservative.
Barbara Boxer suggested truly vile punitive measures be floated to discourage voter fraud.
So making sentencing more assaultive will discourage voters even more than new and ever-changing
I.D. laws.
We already have voting laws.
She suggested mandatory jail time and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
Thinking the people who suggest this increasingly punitive nonsense are supposedly on the side of voters means people could believe actual admitted conservatives would suggest a firing squad for inappropriate voter behavior. In that sort of climate, why would an average voter even take a chance on a false accusation, let alone a false conviction!
The line between Democrats and Republicans is getting fuzzier by the moment.

ISIL World View

ISIL philosophy seems not based so much on the Koran, though I am no expert by any means,
but on The Old Testament in the western Bible.

To See Ourselves As ISIL Sees Us

As far as ISIL is concerned, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are war criminals.
Imagine what citizens who were generals, and professional politicians in the Baathe Party
believe about not running their own country?
They will recede, and come back, continually, like the tides.
We can't be drawn into full fledged war, because only a sea change, a paradigm shift, will ever
cause embittered Persians to want to put away their arms as a way of living.

All These Calm Old Black Men

Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver understands. He remarked to one reporter today, 'the young men have announced they are not 'John Lewis' protesters. We are tired of getting shot at.'

American Apartheid

Voter I.D. is just the beginning.
Voters have always had to identify themselves.
The new stringent requirements asked of voters begin to outline the "papers please"
mentality and policy of a racist authority.
Regimes do this.
South African officials did this to black citizens living in their own land.
Few families can trace their history in America farther back than African America families
can. The descendants of slaves are very, very American. The slaves built a nation rich enough and
powerful enough to defeat the 18th century British Army and Navy.
Without the North American slaves, ther'd have been no place at all about which the statue could
say, "Give me your tired, your poor..."

Do You Like Your Children Murdered?

Well if you don't we are gonna tear gas you!
Anyone does anything we don't like, we are going to
train guns on you all.
This is what we call law enforcement.
If that weren't so sad, it would be so laughable.

Peace In America

Peace here may mean people are quiet, and soft-spoken, and orderly when their youngsters are gunned down in cold blood and left lying dead in the streets for hours like road kill.
Later, hours later, the murdered young man's body was hauled away in an SUV.
And the community felt so peaceful regarding it all.
Wait? Would that be a community of human being people?
Odd.

American Police Insist On Shooting Any Young Black Male

The home boys I know are packing and ready.
They don't normally kill people.
But they do not trust "po pos".
Seems unusual, because police rarely kill armed black men, except maybe in
Hollywood movies.

Violence: Shooting Unarmed Young Men- Very Violent

Is there any possible way in the world for anyone in Ferguson to behave more viciously than
Darren Wilson, or the Ferguson Police department for that matter.

The Indictment Came In August 9th- 2014

Mike Brown Jr.'s community indicted Darren Wilson.
Now they want to know if anyone has yet heard them.

An Awful Anniversary

The closer we get to the holidays, the closer we get to the anniversary of the Newtown massacres in Connecticut.
My heart is aching over this.
In part, I'm very hurt to know our collective conscience has withered from loving our guns so much more than we love our babies...our small, helpless humans. Something is choking off  the blood flow to our morality muscle- and we seem to relish the twisted rush that's giving us. .
Going forward, we are going to need more than our guns. We are going to need God to have mercy on our immortal souls. And for that, as well as for the children in whose honor we have changed absolutely nothing, so that we could mourn them, I do sincerely pray.

100.4

Please, if you have been to Africa, don't get the flu. You'll get shut down cold. I can't exactly see the
point, because if you do cough or sneeze and it touches someone who doesn't notice while you were
climbing from 100.2 to 100.4, how would anyone know?
How long would a group of Ebola creatures be viable after landing on your knuckle from the man
standing in line behind you just before you wipe something from your eye?
Trying to quarantine everyone who comes to the U.S. from West Africa sounds expensive and weildy.
Just how many precise thermometers do we have anyway?
Nina Pham didn't go to West Africa.
Amber Vinson hadn't been to West Africa.
Other nurses who cared for Mr. Duncan aren't sick with Ebola.
So in some ways, anyone who gets a fever has to go home and lock themselves away, because no one knows for certain who has a fever about to be 100.4.
Quarantine will probably not work at all unless we are kind to people and encourage self-monitoring
with a kind protocol.

Mr. Lawrence O'Donnell And 'Dr.' Blah Blah Melnick

This woman truly spoke like an enraging fool.
Does she know who Mr. O'Donnell is? The man is a giant of reasoned intellectualism.
She wanted him to believe Mike Brown may have been moving toward the murderous police person's
gun in such a way that he got a bullet in the top of his head as a young man of 6'4'', to force a downward trajectory of that killing bullet.
Then she wanted Mr.O'Donnell to believe that Mike Brown's hand was moving in such a way that it
had to be reaching for a loaded gun because Mike's thumb was shot.
Is it her theory then, that Mike Brown was suicidal- or does dropping one's head after being pumped
full of bullets, and blocking a gunshot fired at one's person constitute defensive postures...even in an
autopsy report?
The next time I see someone like this woman with the title 'Dr.' after her name, yes, I am going to think of the very backward 'Dr.' who seemed to describe Trayvon Martin completely able to run a
few yards with a bullet in his heart.
What a bunch of lying quacks.
Do they work at Texas Presby in Dallas?

Venus Is Not Serena

Before Serena worries about whether some people think she looks like a man, someone should explain to her that rape is a violent, criminal act, regardless of a girl's sobriety.
The little girl she dismissed in Ohio knew rape was not a legitimate punishment for having too much
to drink.
Why didn't Serena know that herself?
'T see ourselves as others see us', Serena- do some self-reflection.

Do You Hate Black People?

Well then...get a badge from a police department.
Find young black people, older black people, whatever black people you like.
Gun them down without provocation.
Say you were frightened.
Say you thought dying was charging.
Say you thought a toy was a gun.
Say you thought the person 'looked' like a criminal you have seen.
Say you thought a driver's license or a wallet was a gun.
Beat them for walking too close to traffic.
Shoot them at point blank range as they lay prostrate face down in the dirt in surrender.
Kill them as they get into a car driving away from a bachelor's night out before their weddings.
Do all these patently absurd things, and any other equally absurd thing you'd like to do or say
so that you can fill the living muscle and organs in black bodies full of live, fiery lead bullets; then
stand around in broad daylight and grin, or gloat with bloody glee, with the sort of swollen
decay police people have harbored within their soulless guts, and instituted in the no longer alive persons whose living they have obliterated.

Again. What In The World Is Wrong With Monica Lewinsky?

What does she mean her boss was President  Of The United States?
He was president of his family.
He was leader of the free world.
He used very, very bad judgement- because she was in no way worthy even of his dalliance.
Not only was she without a weighty enough age to be involved with him, she still hasn't had enough character to admit they were wrong, either before or after their acquaintance became national fodder.

Texas Presby- Malpractice Criminals

Why would anyone ever go to this hospital again?
Why are people in the media soft-peddling the national response?
In what universe does any medical health professional give a person who says he is sick, a tylenol
prescription for bad stomach pains? Who wrote that script or suggested that course of treatment?
These people need to be prosecuted.
Why is our conversation all about the still healthy nurses at Texas Presby who saw Mr. Duncan in the E.R.?
What attending examined Mr. Duncan? What staff physician did the exam and wrote the discharge
summary and instructions?
These people are criminals.
We have a doctor in Pennsylvania doing time for trying to help poor women desperate for abortions,
while people like the medical workers in Dallas putting thousands at risk. Why?!

Adrian Peterson's Mom

At least this lady is excruciatingly honest.
She admits she sometimes went too far.
Is he going to be able to react to her honesty now,or is she too late?

Our Fall Bees In Detroit

I can't speak for all Detroit neighborhoods, or even for all households in our neighborhood.
However, the many bees, and even a couple of the wasps, seem desperately dehydrated.
Can we blame climate change?
If so, our crops may be in a bit of danger.
Can engineers program some robotic bees?

MSNBC's Chris Hayes

All of last week Chris Hayes did special reports on coal and coal mining in America.
Thursday, on his show, All In With Chris Hayes, he hilariously had Greig's
"Hall Of The Mountain King" playing softly in the background of his verbal reporting on
mountain-top removal of our coal stores.
Usually I am so serious on this topic.
Thursday, I giggled all the way through the music, at least.

Ebola And The Black Plague

What do the organisms in these two diseases have in common?
Likely, they were, and are all atheists; and they all believe we are dumb if we aren't all as well.

Remember Hela?

I remember Hela.
Cervical cancer was just cervical cancer for centuries.
Hela showed us some cervical cancers were way more powerful than others.
Right now, Ebola may be Ebola.
However, we had better admit we know there can be different strains- either now, or in the
evolutionary future of this disease.

Bad Ideas In Texas

Some parts of Texas profess to love denying all the scientific information they can find to deny.
Before Ronald Reagan, even during some of the Reagan era, they were really getting their act
together in Texas, well, in parts of Texas.
What medicine has got to get across to all parts of the public, is that: 1)science is real and 2) denying
science is just as dangerous now as it was when Japanese legislators denied their scientists' warnings that America had the atom bomb in WWII.
Acknowledging science at this point in our history encompasses the acceptance that Gd is the creator
of this world, and of its science.
The most Christian thing we can do is to listen to experts who tell us how to protect one another.

Is The Bill Maher Show Confusing Me?

Yes.
Yes it is.
The King James bible has been the excuse for rotten people to engage in rotten practices for hundreds
of years.
What were slave traders in this country claiming? Christianity meant it to be.
What are their descendants using to promote continued segregation and oppression? The Christian bible.
Has anyone read The Rabbit Proof Fence? Barbarous! Those racial policies were recently enforced.
Has ISIL killed and displaced more Muslims than George W. Bush? Bush claims Christianity.
As far as ISIL is concerned, Bush, Chaney, and their cohorts are war criminals...Christian criminals.
Who is going to change their minds simply because we feel ISIL is powerless to express those feelings.
It was not forever ago when the British Isles stopped taking away a girl's baby, even against her wishes, if she got pregnant out of wedlock, rape or no rape, then forcing her
into unpaid work at convents.
Can't a man in England still put his 85-year-old mom out of her house when his dad dies?
Those unnecessary laws which can cause hardship to some elderly women are not considered inconsistent with Christianity.
Don't sports players and coaches in this country rape and abuse women and young boys with
impunity? People cheered Joe Paterno until his end, though they knew cheering might be over
the top if he were complicit in knowing children were being assaulted.
Don't these same sports heroes later beat and abuse the women and children they profess to love?
Is that because their Christianity is a bad idea, or because laws in a Christian society are bad ideas?
I suppose that premise has to be considered a truism if  'Muslim' ideas are so bad.
'Christian' law enforcement people are beating, choking, and gunning down citizens in American streets. Racists in this country claim the bible mandates separate treatment of dark-skinned persons.
Now, let me see, Christians abuse women, children, minorities...have I forgotten anyone?
Who is left out of those groups? I know the answer is a bit obvious.
True, these crimes do not rise to the level of beheading people, and burying children alive.
Yet where is the realization that when they happen, those who commit them profess to be Christian?
Jihadists are not the only Muslims in this world.
If we believe for one teeny, tiny, moment, that in order to eradicate jihad, we must attack and eradicate the Muslim faith; then we are not one bit evolved from our days of the Crusades.
We are, in fact, as nutty as any other group if we believe "bad ideas" are restricted to the Koran.
Seriously- we had better be planning something more apt to work than the idea of vilifying
the Muslim religion in order to banish extremism from our midst.

Two Things ISIL Wants From The U.S.A.

A. ISIL wants us to come whenever they call, with our entire war machine in tow.
B. ISIL wants us to turn away and go, on their terms, whenever they dismiss us.
ISIL wants us in this posture- forever.
Now, do either of those things sound like anything we should be prepared to do...ever?

Texas Presbyterian

This place has the aura now of 'nightmare'.
It should be shut down.
Who in their right minds would go there now.
They felt happy to unleash Ebola on the community at large.
Maybe next time it won't be Ebola- but what if you are very sick and someone there decides for
whatever reason they will probably get away with just not being bothered.?
How would anyone know who to trust in that place?
Maybe being American wouldn't be enough in some circumstances.
Maybe being white wouldn't be enough in certain situations.
Being sick, and possibly contagious certainly seems a disqualifier.
Of all the gin joints....
Mr. Duncan traveled way over the seas to get married. Instead, he will be buried- or something akin
to burial, a man only 42 years old.
I was surely heartbroken when I heard he had died.
He was so far from home.
He was surrounded by hostile, negligent people.
He died without anyone he knew.
He died without anyone who had ever loved him.
I hope the voices of his family and his beloved drowned out all the others during his last times here,
perhaps "on this darkling plain."

Mr. Thomas Eric Duncan

Mr. Duncan was a kind and generous human being.
I said to my daughter, "He did not deserve death. All he did was try to help a dying pregnant lady."
She replied, "Yes he was a  good and empathic person, and he came all the way across the ocean to
meet no one his equal."

Jackson, FL Makes Sanford The Freaks

I am so glad the jurors didn't use the excuse- 'the law made me do it.'
Decent people know that in a democracy, the jury votes its conscience.
I don't mean to say vote a convenient conscience.
I mean to say it would have been justice for that hell of a jury in Sanford to have
believed John Guy when he said, 'that kid would have had to have fie or six hands to bang
a grown man's head while putting his hand over the man's mouth and reaching for the man's
gun all at the same time.'
But a person would have to have a clean and correct conscience to understand and believe
the truth in Mr. Guy's words.
Now Jordan Davis' suffering and loss has given Trayvon Martin's sacrifice a more resonant credence.
I am very thankful this Jackson jury did the right thing.
Maybe we are now one millimeter farther along on the escape from lynchings than we were when
Emmit was killed in Mississippi, and the jury of those killers' peers let them off scott free.

The Six Degrees of Alan Alda And Alan Henning

My sincere prayers go to Alan Henning's family, and his memory.
Mr. Henning was a London cab driver beheaded a day or so ago by ISIL for no reason whatsoever.
Years ago, Alan Alda took part in a research study which sought to interview people in various
positions in job strata, to find out who were happiest in their jobs.
Many with differing locations and purposes within the professions came in near enough to the top.
Several indices were used to measure satisfaction, mere tolerance, dissatisfaction, and true happiness
doing a job to earn a living.
Turns out, at the very top of the list by a good bit were London cab drivers.
As it turns out, the city is so old, and has so many histories and changes in different parts of its
geography, that nearly every fare is a point A to point B adventure, showing shortcuts, new routes,
and pointing out amazing facts when tourists are in tow.
Imagine a member of such a group making such a wondrous sacrifice to help a terrorized people.
Human beings do indeed have gracious and blessed people among them. Mr. Henning shows us that
in stark relief to the people we can scarcely think of as people as they make these useless, brutal
choices about the lives and deaths of others in order to prove how inhuman they are.
We get it. We believe you. You are barely human. Can you finally stop now?

China Is Strangely Silent

China has made trillions of dollars in Africa over the years.
More than one to three million Chinese persons live in Africa.
Shouldn't China be doing a lot to help out in this latest Ebola crisis?
Hopefully they aren't still buying off Arabs to drive people out of Darfur so Chinese
engineers can search for oil under the farmlands of indigenous people.

France And Its Ebola Eradication Contribution

France, reportedly in the news for under contributing in this crisis, has done what it can do.
It has been said France contributed $100,000,000 and twenty French citizens.
I've heard previously that France's 'Doctors Without Borders' has been battling Ebola for years.
We need to take into account as well: France has no people.
France has been short on men since the Napoleonic Wars.
The country has very carefully nurtured its pre-school population, even paid women who bore sons.
France is a country absolutely essential to western European finance, literature, language, and culture.
The Loire Valley alone contributes billions each year, as do the flower, fashion, and perfume industries.
The language is spoken world-wide; and the dictionaries for it are protected word by word by a council of elders who meet regularly to preen and approve every entry, looking carefully at possible
new entries.
The country is relatively small with a relatively small population.
Though it is considered wealthy, it probably does what it can in ongoing ways most of the time, and in somewhat measured ways at other times.
Perhaps considering its history there, however, it should be making much more of an effort in
Sierra Leone.
Italy and Spain are not so criticised; but they are not quite so wealthy, aside from the Vatican.

Mr. And Mrs. Carter

The gossip is that they are on the marriage skids.
If this is true, I feel sad about it. Why?
I saw the two of them on stage last Saturday in the televised Global Citizen initiative concert.
They each had magic moments with the crowd.
However, I sensed Jay Z is still very much in love.
I couldn't tell anything much from her body language.
I don't know if Mr. Carter is a good guy, but he is certainly a married man, literally and figuratively.
He is clearly in awe of his wife.
Awe can sometimes have a corrosive effect on a marriage.

Would You Get Sick In Dallas...Or In Austin?

Except for Craig Watson, Dallas is as backward as any third world country.
By that I mean there are no standards except for those of the tremendously vacant Rick Perry
and those sad, sad people who found the need to vote for him.
Medical standards should escape Rick Perryness, right?
No way.
As a matter of fact, even Governor Perry isn't as backward as many of his constituents.
He did want to save millions of little girls from HPV disease, as was clarified in the 2012 Republican
Primaries.
But much to the dismay of so many of us, the Dallas sort of Texan is prevalent in the state, and
decided once again- the bible didn't speak on HPV, therefore, like evolution, and climate change, it
must not exist.
Now, there are still a zillion brilliant people in Dallas; but sorry- they've been outvoted.
So for you zillion, be careful, and realize evolution does exist, and if Ebola is not contained in a
relatively short amount of time, it can, it will, it actually already has evolved.
We don't want a rapidly evolving epidemiological disease. Do we?

Joy Reid With Mr. Fauci and Mr. Costello

Joy Reid was a consummate professional as she listened to rude, raucous answers to her questions on
Ebola. the CDC, and other epidemiology questions on her show Thursday, October 2nd.
What in the world was wrong with these two flakes?
'It's not the job of the CDC to encourage companies to develop medicines', Fauci snarled.
So what? Mightn't they take on the role if a world epidemic is on the horizon? What is it you are ina nasty snit about when you answer a question?"
Later, on the Rachel Maddow Show, Fauci was all of a gentleman. He went on and on about the CDC. What in the world...?
Costello was barely more civil.
Later, he was also on another MSNBC news show. Butter would have melted in his mouth.

Michelle Obama

Furious came from the emotion, terror.
She has two babies in the White House.
They are not in swaddling any longer, but to her, they are her babies.
She wouldn't trade them for anything in this world, including this country.
She wouldn't put them in harms way.
Her mom is in that house, because Michelle Obama has to have her babies with
her, though she has a lot of work to do.
She'd give up her arm.
She'd give up her leg.
She'd give up her life.
For a woman like Michelle Obama, those kids are job one, two three and on and on
ad infinitum.
Why?
Because she is their mom, and she knows one day they will be black women in America.
She knows some people will hate them solely because of who they are to America, and to her,
and to Barack Hussein Obama.
She knows the best thing she can ever offer them is a safe and insulated childhood.
The problem is: she has to insulate them from so very much more than I ever needed to keep my
kids from, and she knows she would not mentally survive falling down on that job, especially if
something also happened to her mom.
Michelle Obama may not ever have realized the Secret Service protecting her family would be
overworked, understaffed, and focused as much as possible chiefly on her husband.
When I heard Barack Obama was running for president I had no doubt he was American, but I
didn't believe he was black.
When I realized Michelle Robinson had married him, had babies for him, I began to think- 'he
must be authentic'.
Still, I told all my friends and relatives "No way would I ever vote for him. Black people in the
south will never vote for him. He has babies. Does he know this is America? They shoot first and
ask questions never?"
But one of my daughter's couldn't resist him. I wondered, 'How can she be that way? She doesn't know history. She doesn't understand race hatred.
My niece thought he was wonderful. There were two people I knew now, eager for his campaign.
So I paid close attention, with mounting terror in my conscious mind.
When the President won Iowa, I was stunned. Iowa? Are they setting him up or something?
Then I heard Michelle Obama say: "Don't be afraid for us.  Support us."
From that moment on, my ice block resistance to him as the man, the family in the White House melted slowly.
Back then the Secret Service at least, was the better part of stellar.
Since then, the threats and hate groups have multiplied geometrically.
Congress knows this.
Congress needs to put aside its depravity now that all thus is public.
Would they want the President to lose his family, the best part of his identity?
Barack Obama doesn't hang out with his mom's brothers and sisters. There are none.
He doesn't chat with his grandma's family, or his grandfather's family.
His sister lives in Canada.
One brother lives in Kenya.
Other siblings are not close, not raised with him.
He can't kick back with his brothers and sisters in America. There are none.
President Obama has Michelle, her mom, her brother, and her two children.
That's about it for the core of his identity.
He isn't from a big Texas oil family.
His dad wasn't a U.S. President.
He has no 'good ole boy' network in Arkansas, where he was once a governor.
He isn't a darling of cowboys or the entire right wing of 80s America.
That crowd who worship guns, use the bible as an excuse for hating other people, and despised
the idea of busing- that crowd has grown, and massed against the president.
We need the Secret Service to be all it can be, and more than it has been.
The Service is the state of our union; and Michelle Obama has to have faith in that fact.

A Long Way To Go And A Short Time To Make It In

Shirley Sherrod
Katheline Sebelius
Eric Shinseki
Julia Pierson
The Republican-dominated Congress in D.C. accuses, blames, feigns outrage, spits judgement.
And yet- they don't fund anything at needed levels. They shut our government down, and are happy
to do that. When the departments re shut down, they are not working. This Congress wants all
needed functions to cease. When functions grind to a halt, they accuse everyone but themselves.
They know that America is a capitalist country. They love that. And so people in America can't even
afford to get to work when they are overworked, but underpaid.
No way could Ms. Pearson have done the job 3x more demanding than it was in 2007 with roughly
half the personnel she needed.
Congress only pretends to care.
No way could Katheline Sebelius have known every American needing to get health insurance would
feel a government shut-down breathing down their necks as her website opened.
Eric Shinseki did all he could with the dearth of doctors he had to work with at Vets Admin.
Shrley Sherrod- who knows what nut gave all the misinformation on her?
I hope Secret Service gets its morale back, because the President, his family, and our country need
them much more than we need a Sequestration, or any other bright idea Republicans can conjure.
And the Service needs its morale more than it needs so many 'leaks'.
President and Mrs. Obama need to know. I doubt we do.

Darren Wilson Est Un Muertrier

The Secret Service Is Secret

For that reason, we still don't know what's going on at the White House.
My guess is that in part, the Service is so understaffed, they are using all their resources to vet actual
places where the President's person takes up space.
The people who seem OK , and the family, and the White House itself become secondary.
Congress knows they are overworked and understaffed. Why is Congress excusing itself from blame?
I'm put in mind of Richard Nixon wanting a 'plant' in the extra Secret Service Ted Kennedy requested
after Bobby Kennedy was killed.
Whatever has been going on in this particular Secret Service is obviously not working at all.
The Service needs beefing up- badly; and now the whole world thinks it knows all about everything.
Fat chance.

Why Should We Put Boots On The Ground?

We did that already. Then, when the time came...
Saddam's troops made themselves part of all the other Iraqi War refugees.
We didn't stop all of Iraq's forces. We could never have stopped them all. They were sheltered in place by many of their brethren. And before we left Iraq-
Egypt had Iraqi refugees.
Syria had Iraqi refugees.
Jordan had Iraqi refugees.
Lebanon had Iraqi refugees.
Some richer countries got Iraqi refugees. Time passed.
America built up the remainder of the 'new' Iraqi forces. Then...
America left Iraq to end the wars of the Bushes.
POTUS, however, told America we would have to continue to fight terrorism wherever it landed.
Today, Saddam's people have reemerged.
While they were embedded with their own groups in every country where they fled, they waited to be stronger.
When they came back together to be fighting forces, they were fragmented; but officials here
believed they would not have to be called terrorists because they'd changed their names from Al Queda to many other monikers.
They do have to be called terrorists; and they have to be be contained, no matter where they are, as our President has told us many, many times.
If we put boots on the ground, we will lose many of our armed personnel in a variety of awful ways.
When we see no one left to fight there, what is left of Saddam's forces will scatter again, and again with as much of our money and armaments as they can gather.
Once more, we won't be able to account for them all.
Some of them are twelve and thirteen right now.
In ten years they will be twenty-two and twenty-three.
They will have older commanders, who can see to it that some in the Mid East will make sure their
hatred of the West gets well-funded.
If Iraqi government forces have been built up and funded once more by America, when they see they must fight their brother soldiers in forces previously split off from them  by our 'boots', they may once again tear off their uniforms, turn over their weaponry ( now even more advanced than it was years before) and go home until they figure out what force they may want to join.
That is exactly what they did in June of this year. History, even a history so odd, will repeat itself.
America will have a different President by then.
Will he have learned by then, that "boots" can be 'made for walkin'.
They don't have to be made for warfare.
Lest we allow ourselves to forget, Iraq does not exist. Maliki was not the biggest problem.
Iraq hated us during the first Gulf War.
Iraq hated us during the Iraq War.
Many, many groups in Iraq hate us now. ISIL is not lonely.
Iraq was divided up after WWI because they sided with Germany.
The country was divided up by the west.
If Russia were to come to your street right now, and put down a dividing line in the middle of the road, and tell you you on one side did not live in America any longer, would you feel you no longer
lived in America?
We can contain terrorism more effortlessly if we hit on the right formula for reuniting  Persians with their brothers.
We are not going to succeed by gunning them all into 'live and let live' regarding western civilization,
or American aggressors.
We split them up unnaturally, now it is our job to find out what divisions they can actually live with; and help them get to the desired boundaries if that's still possible.
'Live and let live' will have to be a sentiment they embrace toward one another.
Then, and only then, will they be able to turn it outward.

Thank You Hong Kong For Standing With Ferguson And Mike Brown Jr.

Once again, black culture has travelled the world, and we can all encourage one another.
Here in the U.S. the criminal police officers are a principal cause of the wrong police
officers getting shot.
We cannot be quiet and honor laws which allow for the slaughter of our young children.
Has everyone in America gone mad?
Well, last night, though Ferguson gangster police were as inappropriate as ever, more white
people did come to help with the protest.
Umbrellas are such a great idea. I hope Americans can adopt that practice!
For those of you who don't know why you are holding up hands- Mike Brown Jr. was holding
up both his hands when the freak shot him down, unarmed, in the middle of the street, in the
middle of the kids' day- and left him lying there more than four hours.
Justice in America can never be taken for granted in our community. Way to many freaks
abound here.
In Detroit, where I live, we had to petition the UN in order for many residents to have fresh water
reinstituted into family dwellings.

POTUS and Ferguson, MO In Dubai

My niece was in Dubai a couple of days after Mike Brown Jr. was killed.
She sat at a hotel restaurant where the overhead televisions were all on the news.
Her waiter looked up at the broadcasts in absolute disbelief, asking her- 'What did the black
people do to make the police so angry they got out tanks and gas?'
She had to answer. embarrassed- "Nothing, really."
While she was there too, Palestinians in the middle of terrible life-losing and children-losing
bombings were tweeting understanding and solidarity to American black people in Ferguson.
People all over the world are wondering how democracy has a bona fide leg to stand on in this world
when this is what we inflict on our own citizens- the citizens who actually did build this country.
If we are thinking six billion people all over the world still believe American exceptionalism should
survive based in the slaughter and exploitation of others by the white of skin, I think we certainly fool
ourselves.
POTUS was right to acknowledge to the rest of the world we haven't gotten it right yet.
We are three hundred million, torturing twelve million. Do we pretend the world doesn't know
and make the 'notes to self' they think could be appropriate? POTUS knows better than that.
And for what are we attacking a minority without provocation?  For bringing in the crop which ultimately paid for the war and defeat of the the most
powerful army and navy on the planet at the time- the British crown forces?
For providing the cash crops which built  Wall Street?
For providing the cash Harvard and Yale had in order to rise to existence from the mud?
See, even if America was fair to all its Black citizens, it would have to be fair to only about 3%
of its citizens at most.
We are about 4% of the population here, and some of us are too young to embrace full citizenship,
even though we don't want to be shot to death before reaching full adulthood.

A Young White Officer In South Carolina

If he was genuinely afraid of the man doing as he asked, then he may have Darren Wilson to thank.
Oh, wait- a lot of Darren Wilsons in Ferguson to thank.
He had no reason to stop a man coming out of a seat belt in a gas station- and he definitely should have been the one apologizing.
He wasn't the one about to get shot.
He was the one letting his crazy imagination run away with him.
I still think he owes Ferguson, and America in general, a lot for that unfortunate reality.

Black Men In The News

You people! No- kidding.
The media are in a tizzy.
Black men are punching their wives and girlfriends.
And they all seem to be heterosexual.
Is there a connection?
I guess white men don't hit.
Gay men don't hit.
And black men are getting killed for doing less.
Lots o' news.
Here's the catch- unarmed black men are getting killed.
Police are afraid, apparently, of unarmed teenagers and young men.
In Florida, police got a gang of robbers this year- but didn't shoot them until they had laid down
their arms and were flat on their bellies. They even gave up their own informant to a shooting.
Young black men will be killed if they are unarmed.
Well, not only if unarmed.
Black teenagers can't wear hoodies in the rain. They can be shot dead.
Young black men can't wave down the police when having car trouble. Shot dead.
Black teenagers can't jaywalk. Shot in the back, shot in the head- all at close range.
Young black men can't buy gun-like items at big box stores. A barrage of bullets.
Young mentally challenged black men can't wave a knife. Gunned down- two against one.
Young men can't submit to handcuffs while in back of a police vehicle. Shot down.
Older black men can't be accused of selling loosies. Choked to death with E.M.S. complicit.
A young black man can't look for a license when ordered to- four bullets in a blaze of fire; and
such a black man can't take off a seat belt when entering a gas station either.
A young black man can't get into a limousine on his wedding day. Shot down.
A young black man can't break up a fight on the subway. Shot while lying flat on his face.
A young black man can't have a sword slung over his shoulder. Shot in the back.
A young black man can't reach for a license even if it is not in his car. Shot multiple times.
These young men are unarmed. Is that the problem, really- police are that afraid of young, unarmed
black men?
Are we yet done with the "can'ts" for young black males?
I know I have had enough of it.
Is it that young white males don't do any of these things?
And if we are sick of all this, what can we do about it?
I have heard from many, many officials that what we need to do is 'remain calm'.
Do they mean remain calm as in "young, black, and unarmed"?
I don't see one, single solitary thing about which we need to remain calm. I truly don't.
Were our Nelson Mandela-type activists right in the sixties? Are we going to be eating chicken if
a revolution comes?
I always knew we could go down because we are a small minority in a racist world.
But I don't think we can be required by "da laaw' to go down as sitting ducks.
Rumplestiltskin went to hell in a self-imposed rage.
We don't have to turn over our first-born, last born, or middle born son because those of little faith
want to sit around the way some want to sit around to see how many heads ISIL can get t' rollin'.
Right now, Ferguson is doing what it has to do to show 'badges' they have lost all moral authority
over black citizens.
I don't know what can be done; but if we are waiting for the Law and Order "ding ding" to
straighten things out, we are obviously going to lose more young people each month.
I can see why Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had begun to come to a meeting of the minds with Malcolm X.
Plymouth Rock (back to which most of these "Americans" cannot trace their heritage, ) has 'shorely'
landed on us- real talk.
Or maybe we need to remember, Burkina Faso is nice this time of year.

Why ISIL?

President Obama has said on many occasions, in many ways: ISIL is an immediate threat to the U.S.
We ask how immediate because if they aren't on their way within the next half day we want to leave them to it?
Our President has said many times, he could not predict Iraqi forces would have strengthened these terrorists by turning over all the weapons, ammunition, tanks, etc. gotten from America to the ISIL forces in June.
Truly- what army willingly surrenders all its weaponry to the army it has been tasked to fight? The incidences of the Iraqi forces doing that are  surely ones for the history books.
In the meantime, maybe the President should keep doing a 'Dennis Hopper talking to
Christopher Walken' in the movie True Romance-  "Am I Lyin?"
Some men are bold-faced liars, and so are many of their cohorts.
Some men are not...bold-faced liars.
They just aren't.

Three Years Ago?!!

Some White House attack guy did $97,000.00 worth of damage aimed at or in the White House three
years ago and it has been hushed up all this time?!
I am aghast with worry and upset.
The Secret Service is secretly full of the worthless and the dangerous.
At the time, one of the children was 'home alone', and one was trying to come 'home'.
Poor babies.
Unimaginable!

Ferguson, MO Continues As A Nightmare

The Police Chief should know he sounds ignorant apologizing seven weeks late in a public forum
before ever having spoken privately to the parents.
Of course, 'late' is an operative word here. Why would Mike Brown's parents want to speak to him now?
And we know there a a lot of  'Darren Wilson freaks' in the police department.
Why do they need bracelets.
I feel sorry for the policemen, if there are any, who know better- or are just not dumb enough to
brag they don't know better.
This goofy police department keeps making the people's case for hatred for them. Good job providing
evidence why you should be disbanded guys.
Leave town.
Maybe some other 'lethal force' will hire you.

Jay Z and Mrs. Carter

Jay did his work in his beloved New York at the Global Citizen Festival as only Jay can do!
He was fabulous.
He sang with the crowd.
He paused with the crowd.
He laughed with the crowd.
He called out some of the "boyz".
Jay was all he ever has been, and more, in that special concert.
Mrs. Carter also hit so many of the highlight songs in her career in a somewhat complete surprise
appearance with her husband.
Her voice gets stronger and stronger with time.
Global Citizen- you sure got it right for the world last night.

White Girl 'Sangin"!

Gwen Stefani and No Doubt were beyond astounding last night for Global Citizen in Central Park, N.Y.
Unbelievable!
They hit all the bases and brought it on home, which I didn't think could happen that way twice in
a couple of days even in New York, as it did with Mr. Jeter's last game.
I was stunned by the showmanship Stefani and her gang still had.
I loved her asymmetric hair cut, asymmetric hair style, asymmetric hair color, barely symmetric skirt,
asymmetric neckline, jogging pants, and near-boots.
Her voice has a most exciting quality I didn't think could still be there, live; but it is better!
Her dancing was so perfect.
Her shoulders have the best structure. They are gorgeous.
Did I expect her to be old?
She has joined the "sangin" ranks of Judy Garland and Cindy Lauper.
Her troupe was energized in a most rhythmic way.
Global Citizen- you really scored big with G. Stefani last night.

Detroit In Foreclosure

We have a state government which functions like an autocracy over our black cities.
We have a city government, installed by an autocratic overseer state which functions over all of
us in Detroit as Mr. K. Orr the dictator.
We have very few voting rights or autonomies except at the federal level.
We should have a right to secede this state, and be a county owing allegiance only to our national government.
There could be a reason Detroit should want to be a part of Michigan- now what reason would that be?
I couldn't tell you.
Since the bankruptcy, when we do go to a grocery, we find most of the cashiers are laid off or
at part time. Why? We are buying as much food as we ever did. Have the insurance companies
gone off the rails with the store coverages here?
Now, though our city charter forbade such nonsense for all of time, when we do drive the streets,
we see crews working on various infrastructure projects- not a black face among them.
The police in most precincts are live and let live; but in our particular precinct, a great many of them
barely speak English anyway. They seem to be from Poland. Some people in Poland are very blond, and have distinctive accents. One of my children nearly married a Polish person who came to the
U.S. at age fifteen.
In a place we could have actually used some infrastructure, the M39 throughway, the sidewalk
overpass just collapsed onto the freeway.
Good job Snyder.
We are ever so lucky no one got hurt.

Our Darling Is Leaving?!!

When President Obama left his vacation to go back to the White House for maybe only a day, I
was concerned.
Were we getting bombed? Why would a man leave his family, then go right back? That didn't seem
one bit restful.
As it shortly seemed to turn into a non-event, I relaxed a bit, still with a sense of worry.
POTUS spoke to the country a few times right after, looking as though he was a bit thinner, and his
skin was more gray.
Did he go back during his vacation because of an illness?
Now, I think he had to meet the news of his loss in person.
I don't know either one of them and still I am Devastated!.
Attorney General was crying during his farewell, and POTUS remarked, "You got through it."
I don't know how The General got through it, because I found it a bit difficult.
General Holder did so much for us in the Civil Rights Division, in incarceration reform, in voter
protection. I can't believe how hard he worked.
He even did a lot to get these backward banks to see they may have to pay for misdeeds; but we have
the Barney Frank reforms, and we have Elizabeth Warren, so we need to see how that will play out
in the long term. We on the left may not be completely satisfied with the banking reforms, but we didn't need to go whining to Atty. General Holder.
I have to acknowledge now I've witnessed a true and abiding friendship.
I know the two of them will keep inn touch; but how will they manage the weight of the legacy the
two of them have to catapult into history together as it wobbles around on the fulcrum of their
shoulders?
Massive: just a massive reality for them and for the history of our country has begun to dig itself into
the history of the world.

Is There A Problem?

We are not at war.
What part of 'we are not at war' seems so difficult for those watching the most obvious signs of war to absorb?
Is ISIL a nation?
Yes they are...in their most furtive dreams?
Is Al Queda a nation?
Not at all.
Is Khorasan a country?

No it is not.
Is every military-looking response a war?
The Boston Marathon was not a war.
Ferguson may have been a near-war?
Some analysts believe President Obama cannot be against ISIL because they are an enemy of
Bashar al Asaad, and the President has said Asaad has lost all legitimacy.
Losing legitimacy, though, is the thing our President has decided is about 97% Asaad's problem.
The President weighed in; but decided not to take specific overt action.
If he changes his mind on that, he may let us know.
In the meantime, terrorists, not the Syrian government are threatening the U.S.
ISIL destructions may indeed help Asaad.
But let's remember that even though Asaad is not a leader who has our President's approval, one of the principal resentments Asaad instills among his detractors: He doesn't hate the West enough!
So once again, our President says ISIL has to go, even if it is in a country?
Is there a problem?

President Obama!

Save yourself.
If you save yourself- we are saved as well.
We are your countrymen.
And your family as to depend on you, apparently, more than we knew.

I Am Not A Psychiatrist

I merely observe.
It seems to me men fail to marry a girl like the one dad married.
They often fail to marry the girl they know they will want to be good to forever.
Men have a distinct tendency, in my experience, to marry a woman like the mother their own mom
wanted but did not get.
I would imagine women too often do the same thing.
Whereas romantic marriages are so often truly warm and caring, the more choices a young person
has, the more likely they are to choose a marriage which will end coldly, continue coldly, wind up
in divorce- or even worse.
A person unconsciously goes out to comfort mom; but in real time, mom may think the universe is
rubbing her face in the thing she won't ever have- the mother she wanted, instead of the one she got.
I've also had so many women acquaintances who lament their sons striking a wife a girlfriend.
These women rebuke sons, saying, "How can you do this when you know how cruelly I suffered from being beaten?"
The son has no idea how he can do the thing he hated. However, if he was at an age where he didn't
believe he could protect mom, he incontrovertibly is unable to have a woman in his life he feels he may be elevating to a status above mom by making certain the woman doesn't get hurt.
Some children have seen enough kindness in childhood to resist ever doing to someone else what was
done to a parent living with the family.
Some, however, are never exposed to enough of that kindness to remedy what drives them as adults
unless they have a successful therapeutic relationship with a professional guide in adult life.
So many Americans are satisfied with believing the instantaneous motivation for a risky and
destructive behavior is the actual motivation for the behavior, because the instantaneous is so
prevalent, and so easily recognizable.
I doubt instantaneous is sum total of actual.

Hillary Clinton And Leon Panetta: Wrongo...

President Obama doesn't have to weigh whether or not arms granted the Syrian rebels will end up
in more dangerous hands.
President Obama has to consider the calculus of when those arms will get to the wrong people, and
how many of which kind will be lost.
Of course, there's no good time for that to happen.
But when some time has passed, many groups looking murky and showing an ever-changing face
can show up more clearly in relief and in a constancy of purpose and possibly some consistent
success.

Bees In The 'D'!

Sound like a rap song?
I wonder it isn't.
Bees are camping in the house, unafraid of even hot water in the shower.
Bees are dive-bombing the car for blocks.
Bees are flying into the car when doors are opened- refusing then to leave.
We do not have a bankruptcy of bees in Detroit.
We are rich with them!

Apple And The Media

Are we that dumb?
Do we believe our government can't get to our messages now?
Do we think it will be impossible for our officials to get past these encryptions?
Harvard mathematicians offered us a plausible scheme years ago by which a parrot typing
on a keyboard, would in time reproduce War And Peace.
See, computer engines compress that quantity called, time.
We are not going to have to wait long: neither will our government, thank goodness.

Punch Someone In The Face

Do you love the someone you punched?
Are you in a romantic relationship with this someone?
Oh, well it's OK then.
Pick up something and hit a kid with it.
Do you have a relationship to the kid?
Oh- well then, it's fine, especially if someone related to you ever did that to you.
No worries.
The violence of love and the violence of commitment is completely acceptable to us
Right?

NFL: Yes Players Have To Keep Their Paychecks

NFL players have contracts.
The contracts cover a lot of ground, a lot of people.
NFL players make an inordinate amount of money for their organization.
Players' families are uniquely dependent upon player salaries, as the community at large will be
unable to absorb the fame and lifestyle, or previous lifestyle of a family in pro sports.
If the organization is that worried about paying salaries for benched players, get more insurance.
Underwriters would love to cover more ethics/morals/criminal behavior.
And the NFL has quite enough money to pay for it.
Once the NCAA gets its act together, maybe insurance costs will go back down.

Roger Goodell On Friday Afternoon/ 9-19

What a colossal goof he was.
'I got it wrong'...blah...blah...blah...belaboring the obvious...
Didn't he say that already?
'Ray Rice wasn't honest with me even though everyone else says he was.
Doesn't Goodell keep saying this over and over?
'I was blind. I was helpless. I couldn't see the tape. I couldn't get the tape. My fingers were
broken. I couldn't call the authorities to ask for the tape. I couldn't read, so I didn't read the indictment."
'I got it wrong, again, after the second tape was revealed, but the NFL owners love me.
'When I saw the first tape, I couldn't figure out what had happened. I wasn't intelligent.'
'I have no idea how TMZ had more ease getting the tape of the Ray Rice assault than the NFL.
The NFL may not be powerful enough to get a tape of an employee.'
'But the NFL has given money to groups working on domestic violence now. We have money.'
Blah...blah...blah...the obvious.
Why did Roger Goodell say he interviewed Janay Rice in the room with her husband?
'I got it wrong...blah...blah...blah...' he repeated, over, and over again.
He can't get it right, but he can do better- so he keeps saying.
He doesn't need to get it right.
He isn't getting punched in the face, or beaten, or scarred, or fined.
And he's rich.
I've got news for him, though.
Fans are not going to put up with this forever.
Slowly, but surely, he will be the one putting forth the leadership which begins to help erode our NFL fan base in modern times, in the NFL heyday

America Is The Most Quickly Advancing Society On Earth

No group in America wants to stand for suppression, or repression.
Here, people keep demanding parity with their skill sets, and abilities to manipulate both creative power, and static knowledge.
As such, one small incremental step in America can reach around the world with quicker and quicker
speed.
Such a rapidly advancing society cannot easily co-exist on a smaller and smaller planet with societies
mired in ancient centuries.
When the ideological paths inevitably cross in these societal groups, the people unaccustomed to
finding safe passages for themselves and their families in rapidly moving and changing environments will be the ones who feel more acutely their ways of life threatened and disrespected.
Rapidly advancing societies tear at the fabric of what makes older societies most comfortable in their
traditions.
Somehow, any tradition which gets threatened causes older civilizations to reach back even further in time for ones they feel have been tested by that time.
Sadly for the human race, those earlier times were necessarily much more brutal.
Though we didn't understand it in the sixties, time and tide had chosen America and in some cases its allies, to drag ancient societies kicking and screaming into modern centuries.
We have to do it; but our habitual exploitation of other peoples has almost inexorably complicated
our already complicated planetary mission.
Shortly after U.S. troops arrived in Vietnam, Buddhist monks were immolating themselves.
I am not saying we were right to enter or stay in that war, What I am saying is that Vietnam
went in a relatively short span of time from an agrarian society thousands of years old to building cars and selling them in our country!
I'd like us to to properly educate  maybe 100,000, 000 Ph.D.s who have rigorously
steadfast bona fides in many differing fields of endeavor, within perhaps the next fifty years.
Westerners are outnumbered in this world; but we do have so very many universities.
We cannot continue to approximate exploiting  people the way Afro-Americans were exploited to build this country in the first place.
Immigrants have told themselves they built this country, but at most they have built on it.
The U.S.A. was already a country when nearly every immigrant wave group arrived.
Those of us whose ancestors came here in the 17th and 18th century built the American fortune.
There are not all that many people left in America like that. But-
In this way, there was a country for immigrants to come to which was already developed.
And all that struggling we did, begat more struggling, from every group since then.
People who struggle are trying to get up, not down. Struggle is a natural impetus of advancement, not
a simpler working toward  a tried and true continuum.
Imperatives for survival in American culture  are practically DNA embedded.
Capitalism is the other powerful impetus stirring constant advancement.
People feel compelled to succeed in order to survive at all.
We can call aggressions war.
We can call anything geographic against anyone a state hostility.
We had better get used to defending our own way of life, though in ever-increasingly creative ways, or we are gong to wind up back into the twelfth century ourselves.

We Are At Raw With Terrorists

We are prime targets.
We are obligated to attack terrorism as best we can.
We are not waging war on any sovereign nation, aside from Afghanistan.
If we were, we'd be arguing about Somalia every day.

Whose Job Is It To Keep Me From Offending?

That would be my job.
If I hit my partner, I have a duty to consider making certain we separate.
Beyond my personal responsibility, I know our society, including the NFL, has to sponsor the
research which separates the psychological triggers stimulating intimacy violence from sociological
triggers. Once medical health professionals have developed a clear guide through the
sado-masochistic maze in a labirynthical human schema, they may be able to study with sociologists to make better inroads and/or elisions into those platforms of our society which help support the more
dangerous features of a particular disease response in a specific relationship.
We have to be serious about doing this work.
Otherwise we could be stuck attempting to analyze the Marlon Brando/ Catherine Deneuve film,
Last Tango In Paris...forever.

Ray Rice Is Not The NFL

Roger Goodell is not the NFL.
Cam Newton is a black man who fits the NFL bill by attempting to be what a weepy white man
wants him to be. That's fine. He has to do that, and is maybe is also of great character.
But there are many men in the NFL who are ordinary family guys. Some of them are black.
Other men in the NFL are lighting their wives up on a regular basis. Some of them are white.
The point is we can't get more spastic over a video than we do over actual abuse.
Maybe we'd better begin to treat abusers as individuals, even in the media, because the stated
statistics are beginning to sound like a racial rounding up.
White women are getting lit up every day in every way by white men in every profession.
Was the Violence Against Women Act about minority domestic abuse?
No. No it was not.
The NFL has to handle family abuse better because they need to be held to a higher standard; but the
truest and equally enforceable burden does belong to the criminal justice system.

Boko Haram Is Not ISIL

Boko Haram are a nightmare.
However, their vicious machinations don't have a lot more than ground power.
Besides, they have no diplomatic proximity or possibilities for nuclear weaponry.
Goodluck Jonathan should be able to handle them.
However, Jonathan may be the tree Boko Haram didn't fall far from after all.

People Who Will Never Play Football

Those people will still die.
Cheating football will NOT cheat death.
Not only that, we won't normally choose any of the manner of our sicknesses or our deaths.
As our faith says- 'Ye know not the hour nor the day.'
If a young man has a dream of playing the game, protect him as best you can.
If he becomes a surgeon, he isn't going to come home and cut people because he cuts all day in
his job.
The NFL probably harbors less family abusers than other professions; but for now, they are so
much in the public eye, so highly praised, and so highly paid that the public has a right to expect
a high caliber of pperformance in their moral fortitude as well.

Black Men Were Brutes UNTIL They Got To Their Women

Before the extremes of aggrandizement they do so richly deserve became as exxagerated as they have, black men forced to be beasts of burden in fields all day were good to their women in the principal place they could express a unique humanity- at home.
With the increased successes they've endured for their families, have come the pressures of knowing
they are still hierarchically in any organization, at or near the bottom of any niche, in the en masse way. Traditionally, though, black men were the absolute backbones, sometimes rarely seen in any location for long stretches of time, but the bracings, nonetheless, of their communities.
They didn't normally reject the women being used by self-entitled perverts like Thomas Jefferson.
Often, they'd comfort such women, take their minds off their troubles as best they could.
They didn't have helpmates in southern plantation communities. They were the helpmates.
So many times a man pledged himself to a woman and her children, knowing he was in no way to
be master of any of their fates.
So very many young black men worked from sun up to sun down to avoid sheer calamity in their
lives and the lives of the ones they loved. No other reason than that was available. The, they
sauntered off to lesser farms in the dead of night to work for some pay in order to buy their moms
out of slavery as mothers were sometimes lucky enough to age.
Traditionally, whatever any black man had, he shared with his loved ones. Black women often had
to consume their portions of anything right where they stood as they received it, in case they might
get some idea of being too nurturing to their own children.
Black men in the first part of the twentieth century, and even s a few into the 40's or 50's sometimes
helped sneak their mothers and sisters away from the south under cover of darkness so women could
escape someone in the majority culture who decided to make habitual use of them.
Harriet Tubman, who spoke only of abusive  physical violence at the hands of her 'master' when she was a child, always said her dad gave her all the tools she ever had or ever needed in her struggles to find and stay in a world free from the lash of a 'master' she hated.
Her mother fretted bitterly, Harriet is reported to have said many times, that a young girl was best obeying even a 'master' if it helped keep the family together.
Harriet's dad explained to her mother as gently as he could, that Harriet wasn't cut out to be sustain
beatings...constitutionally.
Ms. Tubman said her father showed her everything the woods had to offer, and everything they offered to be feared.
He taught her all she ever needed to know to survive, and thrive.
Of course she did miss her family after the day finally arrived she knew she had to leave; and so she
lived the rest of her life honoring their sacrifice and her own.
She was no kindly gentle guide. People who found her for help lost a choice to reject it. If in those
times you asked for the Underground Railroad, you got on it, stayed on it, or got in it, and stayed in
it. She took no chances. I've heard and read it was best to follow her orders...exactly as she spoke them.
Until that point in history, every slave rebellion had been betrayed by a slave. Most plantation workers were terrified of the outside world, and of unknown chaos.
But what if Harriet Tubman had a dad to weak or fearful to help her become knowing? We don't
celebrate him much as black people. But I sure celebrate him all of the time in my own way, and n my own family.
Do we know how many hockey players hit family members?
Most women, especially majority women, don't even report abuse. Women don't usually understand that if the guy knocks you down, he gets a bigger thrill from doing it to you, literally or figuratively, than he could get from doing it to any other woman anywhere. In that way, you truly are unique for him. Women understand and warm to the feeling of being so unique- even when the status is based
in pain and degradation. Men get abused as well, but generally are raised to find their own way in
this world without ever becoming too dependent on any other person. Pregnant women may get
sidetracked while attempting to espouse that way of life.
Whereas black men have fallen of the personal nurturing wagon somewhat of late, they are by no
means committing the preponderance of crimes against women in this country, even when they play
football in the NFL.
They commit way less suicide than white men, statistically.
They commit way less incest.
They comprise way fewer lists of serial killers, numerically and proportionally.
I know black men may leave something to be desired in their personal family behaviors.
But why are we picking example after example of bad behavior without focusing on solutions?
Should we pay more attention to cessation of harm to women and children than to the job statuses
of a plethora of millionaires and their handlers?
I believe we should.

Thank You Secretary Of State John Kerry: Our True Soldier Diplomat

The most important thing he said this afternoon was that this conflict we have gotten into with
ISIL is not anything like the Gulf War of 1991, or the Iraq War post 9/11.
We  are not in any way aggressing a sovereign nation for any reason.
We may not have had a choice in Afghanistan; but we summarily turned a much larger and more
complicated square mileage in the Arabian peninsula into a wonderful staging ground for more
terrorism. The Iraqi people are not one bit grateful for either Iraq War in the main- and neither are their neighbors.
I wish I had some idea why we have to listen to our goofiest senators. We can't discuss the whole of
our strategy or the strategy of our partners.
They suggest in public that they are better legal minds than the Administration or its lawyers.
They suggest we haven't done a thing to rid the world of ISIL until yesterday.
They suggest all things which have to be done in classified meetings should be done now in public.
They suggest we can accept help from any country whether we vet them or not.
They suggest we can start killing American soldiers in foreign lands again.
Menendez and Corker just blab, blab, blah, blah, saying nothing at all except: 'We don't like President
Obama.
So what?
ISIL will strike whether or not these suited-up blowhards like their own leadership.
The Pink people are in today's session with signs: 'Don't Fund Obama's Wars'.
How peaceful are we if we let ISIL spread so the President won't let a 'war' be named for him.
Obama has a problem with terrorists, not with any specific country.
Yes, the terrorists are on earth, within some of earth's geographic boundaries.
Still...they are opposed to peace.
Is that OK with our President?
It cannot be.
Menendez brought up Iran in a mindless statement about what that country would expect from us if
they act against ISIL; but they already said they won't help even though they don't want a powerful
ISIL.
I do have to say I have seen very little from either Iran or Syria which encourages me to say I'd ever
believe one word coming from either in any context during the last twenty years with the exceptions of the nuclear arms enrichment they recently grudgingly slowed in return for America's lifting of some sanctions against them.
These Foreign Affairs Committee Senators want to limit the President's Article Two powers of war
from the Constitution.
That may have to happen. If it does- no one is stopping them from taking that vote. In the meantime,
before they write up the resolution, and take the vote, if ISIL has to be hit in Syria, the President is
going to do that. I doubt the committee members would dare hesitate to vote continuing the halt of
any terrorist group.
Mario Rubio wants to know if we can maybe put 'boots on the ground' if something horrible happens
or if Assad does not fall.
He cannot accept "No" for an answer. Too bad for him Secretary of State's answer was: "For this
moment we have to say "No; and we will not speculate on future Syrian conflict possibilities once
ISIL is weakened."
Rubio: (whining) "But why? What if ISIL goes and Assad is still there?"
John Kerry: "We won't speculate."
